Training: Communicate Success to Your Customers Using Data
You may have heard of Technology Letter 19-01 which lays out the State’s open data policy. It’s a great start and is critical to build the public’s trust, but open data is just the tip of the iceberg.
Join SiOC for a free half-day workshop on how to leverage your agency’s data to improve relations with the public, your CA State internal customers and to improve program performance. Don’t worry – you will not need to have any expertise in databases or any software; this collaborative session is designed for agency communications professionals and will cover:
- Open data – what is it, why is it important, what to do with it
- Leveraging your agency’s data to improve performance and tell a story
- Interactive discussion – using your data to solve issues across agency lines
