John Fairbanks, Capitol Morning Report Publisher
John Fairbanks was rescued from the title insurance industry about 20 years ago by his father, who a few years earlier had started The Capitol Morning Report. He didn’t know much about journalism at the time, except that his dad made a living practicing it. By following his father’s guidance, Fairbanks has learned much, and even some things about journalism and what goes into reporting the news. Fairbanks is married and has twin 13-year-old sons. He and his family are parishioners at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. His favorite hobby is bicycle racing and he hopes that one day one of his sons will be publisher of The Capitol Morning Report.
